It’s almost Tax Time again!
Effie Zahos, Canstar editor-at-large, commentator and financial literacy campaigner is returning to the airwaves from June to take your listeners though the end of financial year.

With everything that’s happended over the past 12 months, the need for clarity at Tax Time will be greater than ever.  Jobkeeper, Jobseeker, working from home claims and superannuation are all on the list of things that everyone will need to think about come tax time. 

The good news is the Effie is across it all, so we’ll have a great package of tips relevant to consumers and small business as we move through the end of the financial year.
Each segment runs exactly 50 seconds, so you can add your own local sponsor credit to make it a neat 60 seconds. Here’s a sample.

One of the latest projects we’ve just launched in Melbourne is a 2-Day Introduction to Voice Over workshop.

This is aimed at people with no experience in Voice Over, but have perhaps thought about giving it a go because a friend or colleague has suggested that they ‘have a good voice’.

The next course is running on July 20 & 21, 2019 at Bang Bang Studios in Melbourne.

Andy Wells Media Wins Bronze at the 2017 New York Festivals® International Radio Program Awards

June 20, 2017:  Andy Wells Media has been honoured at the 2017 New York Festivals® International Radio Program Awards with the Bronze Trophy in the Best Music Special category for  the program “Celebrating 30 Years: U2 – The Joshua Tree“.

This 1-hour special, hosted by Barry Bissell, originally aired on 57 radio stations across Australia in March this year and was written by Jeff Jenkins and produced by Andy Wells.

The team would like to thank broadcasters for supporting this music special and U2 for their amazing album The Joshua Tree.   Additionally we would like to congratulate The George Washington University – USA (Gold trophy) and CBC Radio – Canada (Silver) on their awards in this category.

Next month will mark the 30th anniversary of the classic U2 Album “The Joshua Tree”.

It’s an album that has stood the test of time with hits like Where the streets have no name,  With your without you and I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.

To celebrate the 30-year milestone for this Album, Andy Wells Media is bringing the album’s music and story to radio in March with a 1-hour special hosted by Barry Bissell.
